DawnaPidgeon, PT, has practiced Physical Therapy since 1986 (graduated UVM). She has a passion for improving balance, function and quality of life for older adults. Her PT specialties include falls prevention in older adults, treating people with challenges related to neurologic conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and treating people with dizziness and vestibular dysfunction.
Dawna co-founded the Balance and Vestibular program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH, the first Parkinson’s Wellness program at DHMC and currently works closely with movement disorders specialists with the Parkinson’s Center of Excellence at Dartmouth Health.
Focusing on public health since 2000, Dawna serves as Co-Chair of the NH Falls Risk Reduction Task Force- a statewide falls prevention coalition.
